Vortrag für die Schüler des Gymnasiums Penig
Im März hielt Frau Kirstin Kleeberg von der Technischen Universität Bergakademie Freiberg vor den Schülern des Gymnasiums einen Vortrag zum Thema „Rohstoffe im Alltag – und in der Zukunft?“.
Im Rahmen des Projekts Social Nature hat sie veranschaulicht, wie vielfältig Rohstoffe sind, woher sie stammen und welche Rolle Recycling für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung spielt. Dabei hat Frau Kleeberg viele Beispiele gegeben, welche Produkte aus „bergbaulich“ gewonnenen Rohstoffen bestehen. Sowohl der Referentin als auch den Schülern hat das informative Treffen viel Spaß gemacht und es gab eine anregende Diskussion.
Die Projektleiterin Stefanie Walter präsentierte zudem die erste Aufgabe für die Schüler.

“Raw materials in daily life – and in the future?”
Lecture held for the pupils of Penig Gymnasium
In March, Mrs. Kirstin Kleeberg from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg gave a lecture in front of the pupils of the Gymnasium who are participating in our project. The headline of the presentation: „Raw materials in daily life – and in the future?“
As part of the Social Nature project, Mrs. Kleeberg illustrated the diversity of raw materials, where they come from and the role of recycling for sustainable development. Mrs. Kleeberg gave many examples of what is made of raw materials extracted from mining operations. Both the speaker and the students enjoyed the informative meeting and there was an active discussion afterwards.
